Restorative dentistry
Care for damaged or missing teeth, including crowns, bridges, root canal treatment and dentures. We discuss the choices available and build a treatment plan with you.
Dr. Jake is certified in the Bioclear method and uses biomimetic restorative techniques. He is passionate about preserving healthy tooth structure and creating strong, natural-looking restorations. These approaches aim to create strong, natural-looking restorations while preserving as much of your own tooth as possible. We assess each tooth to recommend the approach that fits your needs.
Invisalign in Olds
Interested in clear aligners? We offer Invisalign consultations to assess your smile, discuss your goals and determine whether treatment is appropriate for you.
Sedation options
For restorative care: nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedation are available for suitable patients. We discuss your concerns, review your health history and explain which option may suit your treatment.
For extractions only: IV sedation is provided by Dr. Kirk Chambers, owner of Dental Service Group. Our team will explain preparation, recovery and escort requirements before your appointment.
Wisdom teeth & extractions
Wisdom tooth assessments and removal, along with other tooth extractions. We explain the findings, discuss treatment and sedation options where appropriate, and provide aftercare instructions. Referral may be recommended depending on your needs.
Dental implants
We are preparing to offer dental implants at our Olds clinic. This service is not yet available. Contact our team for updates or to discuss your current options for replacing missing teeth.

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) creates a three-dimensional view of your teeth, jawbone and surrounding structures. When clinically indicated, it can help us investigate concerns that need more detail than a standard dental X-ray provides.
- Assess signs of infection around tooth roots and investigate complex root canal anatomy.
- Evaluate impacted wisdom teeth and their relationship to nearby nerves and other structures.
- Assess bone dimensions and anatomy for surgical planning, including future implant treatment.
- Investigate selected jaw abnormalities, dental injuries and nearby sinus findings.
We recommend 3D imaging only when it is appropriate for your clinical needs, rather than as a routine screening scan for everyone.
